What CINDEE Is

(and Why I Built It)

CINDEE is the home for independent film.

I built it because, as a filmmaker, I experienced how broken the system is firsthand. Alongside writer and director Chelsea Bo, I spent years making films, premiering at festivals, winning awards, and then watching those films disappear once the circuit ended.

Great films. No lasting audience. No usable data. Bad distribution deals.

There isn’t a lack of great independent films. There’s a lack of infrastructure.

CINDEE is a discovery-first platform designed to give independent films a life beyond festivals. It’s a place where filmmakers can build an audience before, during, and after the festival circuit, and where audiences can discover, follow, watch, and support the storytellers they care about, all in one place.

Instead of relying on platforms that take big cuts or pay creators pennies, CINDEE lets filmmakers go directly to their audience.

How It Works for Audiences

CINDEE uses a flexible credit system inspired by Audible.

You can pay as you go or save by buying credits in bundles. Credits can be used to watch films, tip filmmakers, unlock behind-the-scenes content, and access exclusive extras. Merch is coming soon.

Pricing is simple and transparent. If you buy credits for $17.99, you’re charged exactly $17.99. No hidden fees.

Your support goes where your attention goes.

How It Works for Filmmakers

Filmmakers set their own prices in credits and keep full control.

One credit equals one dollar paid to the filmmaker. Creators receive 100 percent of the price they list and pay no withdrawal fees. You also decide where your film is available, locally, regionally, or worldwide.

CINDEE is built for filmmakers who want ownership, clarity, and a direct relationship with their audience, and for audiences who want their support to actually matter.

This is CINDEE.
