A Bench for Darren

At the unveiling of a memorial bench for her late husband, Sylvia leans on her church family and adult children as old wounds resurface. Her daughter Jessica, battling alcoholism, lashes out and confronts painful truths about her father, while her son Marcus, living with agoraphobia, struggles to stay present in the world outside his home. Over the course of one fraught afternoon, the family reckons with grief, faith, and long-buried resentments, discovering the fragile bonds that still hold them together.
