Cheng, a recent undocumented immigrant, works hard at Lyu's restaurant to make ends meet. As he navigates the uncertainty of his future, Cheng discovers that his coworker Fei, who previously gained legal status, earns significantly more. Determined to find a way to obtain his own legal standing, Cheng faces financial and time constraints that hinder his path.
