Ashes: Hai Iro No Yuki

Natalia attends her mother’s funeral. She weathers mourner after mourner alone while her father, Maurice, hides behind the shadow of his wife’s passing. Without her mother to bridge the gap, Natalia and Maurice are left to piece together their relationship after years of hurt, resentment, and misunderstanding. It’s a meditation on love and loss, grief and healing. Ashes is an ode to parents and children.
