Ghost of Home

After my grandfather passed away, we reunited with him in our own way. My mother began to remember the old house that was sold and the unfamiliar tenants in her dreams, while I used a thermal camera and 3D scanning to capture traces of past presences. On the forty-ninth day, we burned a paper house for him. His spirit no longer wandered—he became the ghost of our family. And as for me, far away in the United States, perhaps I am a kind of ghost too.
