Holy Roller

Brooklyn is an artist who is trying to open up a boutique in the SF Bay area, only to get her loan denied. She ends up going out one night with her best friend Nzinga and drinks so much she blacks out. During this black out she has a one night stand with a "man child" named Dion, and wakes up in an unfamiliar bed. After the one night stand she runs to the church to ask for forgiveness, in the same dress she had on the night before. During her revelation in church while she was hung over, she decided she would give up premarital sex, alcohol, and marijuana. Unfortunately, her timing couldn't be worse as it is Nzinga's birthday. Nzinga convinces Brooklyn to go back to the club where she met Dion for her VIP birthday bash. Brooklyn maintains her sobriety in the VIP section but gets bored so she goes to the bathroom. In the bathroom Brooklyn finds a Chanel clutch with $10,000 cash in it. There is no ID in the purse so she decides she will take it. Just as she is admiring the purse and washing her hands, Amanda walks in. Amanda is the owner of the purse. She snatches the purse out of Brooklyns hands and exits the bathroom. Brooklyn is left looking in the mirror with not even a thank you to comfort her. She is upset at first but after a good ol' pep talk with herself she realizes as long as she can look up to God with no regret and look in the mirror with no regret, she will be ok.
