Lollie

After the closure of the hospital she worked at, Gabi, a young low-income lunch lady, fights to protect her friend Lola, a 71 year-old woman with disabilities. Having lived at the hospital's facilities for countless years, Lola doesn't have anyone and has now been left at a neglectful shelter for homeless psychiatric patients. Gabi will do whatever she can to care for Lola, and she'll start with one “lollie" a day. Soon Gabi realizes that her bond with Lola transcends friendship - it's more like family now. What she's yet to find out is what role Lola will play in her life.
