7-year old Nicole and her loving father are on holiday. Despite their fun, Nicole observes strange behavior from her dad. She's soon captivated by a dead pond in the backyard. When a strange woman visits, Nicole tries to protect her father from danger. When he’s taken away, Nicole discovers a fish in the murky pond – proof that new life can still come from broken places.
