Matty, a newly recovering addict, needs cigarettes. He walks into a liquor store, and in a moment of weakness, goes behind the counter to steal some liquor. He’s just finished stuffing his pockets with nips when SAM, his ex, walks in. Misunderstanding, Sam believes that Matty is working at the store. Unwilling to tell her the truth, Matty does everything he can to maintain her impression that he’s finally cleaning up. Soon, Matty begins to convince even himself that he’s gotten better. But is he able to stifle his impulses as an addict on the edge of relapse?
