After surviving a harrowing synagogue shooting, a driven, young lawyer is forced to confront his own emotional scars. In the aftermath, he takes on the responsibility of fulfilling his late mother's final wish: helping his 10-year-old Ukrainian cousin navigate the challenges of starting a new life in America. As their bond deepens, he learns that healing takes time and sometimes, moving on means learning to let go.
