Arthur Grayson appears in France— an artist with no past, no history, no trace, yet paintings that seize the city’s soul. His sudden brilliance becomes shadowed by an obsession: a portrait of a woman whose face remains forever hidden. The more he paints, the more the world around him unravels, until Grayson himself vanishes without explanation.
