When his aide Giulia and teacher Ms. Carver struggle to reach him, the film invites the audience to experience the world through Simon’s perspective rather than simply observing it from the outside. Produced in collaboration with the Institute for the Redesign of Learning in Pasadena, California, and featuring autistic actors in the principal roles, the film offers an intimate and authentic look at communication, empathy, and the quiet breakthroughs that can happen when someone is finally seen.
