The Hummingbird Garden / El Jardin de los Colibries

Iris and her grandmother, Rose, have a great relationship. One day as Rose teaches Iris how to plant a seedling, she shares that her passion for gardening helped her deal with the grief of losing her husband. The calmness of the garden is disrupted when Rose’s children visit her to dispute the future of their childhood home. After their fighting leads to Rose’s passing, Iris struggles to return to what once was her safe space because of the looming presence of her family and the garden begins to deteriorate.
