WHISPERINGS OF THE MOON

Following her father's sudden death, actress Nisay returns to Phnom Penh from New York. At her old theater, she reunites with former lover Thida and Thida’s daughter, Malika. Memories from seven years ago flood back—ambiguous training, bittersweet plays, and a secret romance. Now reunited, their interactions are shadowed by reality’s constraints: money, marriage, protest, loss. Yet love still flows through every embrace and gaze. Separation repeats—on stage, in memory, in life itself. They part with tender, rational goodbyes and hollow blessings.
