Ala Nunu is a Polish animation director currently based in Portugal. Her portfolio includes working for Adult Swim Toonami, Universal Studios and Frank Sinatra Estate, The Atlantic and the On Being Project. Her latest film "Telsche", co-directed with Sophie Colfer, premiered in Annecy Film Festival and her previous film Ahead has been selected at festivals such as Animafest Zagreb, Bucheon International Animation Festival and Festival Anima in Brussels. She is also a co-founder of COLA international production cooperative, where she helps bring to life a wide variety of projects, from short films to VR experiences. As an animator, Nunu has recently worked on films such as the Oscar nominated "Ice Merchants" and multi awarded "Slow Light". She regularly teaches at the University of Algarve in Portugal and PJWSTK in Warsaw, Poland.
