Born in Nova Scotia, Canada, Ben Proudfoot is a two-time Academy Award–winning filmmaker and the founder and CEO of Breakwater Studios, leading a filmmaking staff producing original and commissioned documentaries. His work includes the Oscar-nominated A Concerto Is a Conversation and the Oscar-winning The Queen of Basketball and The Last Repair Shop.
