Jill Marie Sachs is a mixed Filipina American writer-director exploring myth, identity, and cultural disappearance. She is an AFI Conservatory directing MFA and 2024 CAPE Julia S. Gouw grantee. Her folk-horror short Taga was shot in the Philippines and has earned awards at the Catalina Film Festival, FilmQuest, and more.
