Kris has been working in animation since graduating from the Royal College of Art in London in 2010, with her focus shifting to the design of immersive experiences for children and young people after moving to Vienna in 2018. Projects include an award-winning collaboration with the Austrian National Library on the location-based augmented reality story 'The Bookworms' and a wide range of AR experiences and educational tools for children and young people on topics such as the female menstrual cycle, economic literacy, and light pollution. Since founding a studio with developer Andi Wuthe, she has directed the interactive augmented reality story 'Insects & Us' and a series of immersive XR experiences for the animal welfare group FOUR PAWS. Alongside her artistic practice, she works as an expert advisor at the Austrian Institute of Technology.
