Samuel Suffren is a Haitian filmmaker and producer. He is making a trilogy of short films inspired by the story of his father, which has been showcased at prestigious festivals worldwide, including the Directors’ Fortnight at Cannes, Locarno, the Sundance Film Festival, and FESPACO. He’s developing his first fiction feature, Je m’appelle Nina Shakira.
