Across cultures, silence often prevents survivors of sexual assault from sharing their stories. Director Yifeng reflects on why, years after her own trauma, she cannot say “rape” in Mandarin or confide in those closest to her. Seeking her voice, she speaks with three friends about the shame carried by Chinese women. Through intimate conversations, the film reveals unspoken pain among survivors who have never fully shared their experiences. Blending poetic visuals and warm cinematography, All of Us Girls explores the difficulty of speaking out, ultimately becoming a quiet, healing space of friendship, resilience, and release from long-held silence and trauma.
